Some information on setting records in California:
  • You must be a resident of California to set records.
  • You can set California records in divisions that you do not enter. Example, if a lifter who is of the age of master can set master records even if you are only entered in the Open.  You must provide proof of age and notify the record keeper.
  • You can set California records in out- of- state meets sanctioned by USA Powerlifting, International Powerlifting Federation or any of its member federations. You must inform the state record keeper of this in order for your record to be honored. Proof of age and meet results/verification by meet director will be required.
